Expression Language Functions

The CQ Extended Tag Library provides a set of custom Expression Language Functions built to make it easier for developers to create clean, error-free scripts in Adobe CQ/AEM.

The following EL functions are available:

• getUniqueId - Generates a Unique ID for the resource at the specified path.

• getInheritanceValueMap - Gets an InheritanceValueMap from a specified resource.

• getPage - Gets the page at the path or the page containing the resource at the path.

• getTitle - Get the title of the specified page.

• listPages - Lists the child pages of a particular page.

• getInherited - Gets an inherited value from an InheritanceValueMap.

• escapeSelector - Escapes the provided string into a valid CSS selector
